We had a great turnout at the monthly Kent County Democratic Party meeting Wednesday night. Thanks to all who attended.
The November election cycle is upon us. Time to get to work! We heard from Dean Vander stout, 2nd Congressional District candidate, Jessica Hanselman, 77th House Seat candidate, Dan Morse, 18th County Commission candidate, Lynn Mason, 86th House Seat candidate, Winnie Brinks, 76th District Representative, and Kemal Hamulic, candidate for the 29th District. We signed up for volunteer opportunities in our area of interest, and learned about income inequality.
Owen Bieber presented a strong argument against the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP), and Mike Bieber explained free tax preparation services that are now available. Berthal Archie described plans for the table at the Women’s Expo.
I hope to see even more people next month. Our candidates can’t win without our support. – Jim Winslow, KCDP Chairperson
